Abstract
A simple thin layer chromatographic technique is developed for the identification of primidone and its major metabolites namely phenobarbital, p-hydroxyphenobarbital and 2-ethyl-2-phenylmalondiamide in the urine of a 10 years old dyslexic female patient who was administered primidone orally at a therapeutic level of 37.5 mg daily.
