Existence results for some degenerate elastohydrodynamic problems

Abstract

In this work we study a coupled problem between an elastic body which is the boundary of a fluid region with a thin flow. We present two existence results. The first one concerns the degenerate case when the initial gap is not strictly positive. The second one is devoted to the case of a clamped elastic body where the elastic deformations are non positive.
