The article discusses new random and deterministic fixed point and approximation theorems for countably 1-set-contractive maps. Results of Furi–Pera, Leray–Schauder, Krasnoselskii--Petryshyn, and Fan's approximation type are presented for a variety of countably 1-set-contractive multimaps (, KKM, PK, etc.). Their random analogues are also given.
