Age-structured dengue epidemic model

Abstract

This paper deals with a new age-structured epidemic model for dengue. The proposed model consists of an age-structured, coupled set of partial differential equations describing both the vector life cycle and the host life cycle. We provide a numerical discretization with stability arguments and show that the model emits reasonable solutions.
