Ground state solutions for the non-linear fractional Schrödinger–Poisson system

ABSTRACT

In this paper, we study the existence of ground state solutions for the non-linear fractional Schrödinger–Poisson system (-Δ)su+V(x)u+ϕu=|u|p-1u,inR3,(-Δ)sϕ=u2,inR3,

where 2<p<2s-1=3+2s3-2s, s(34,1). Under certain assumptions on V, the existence of a nontrivial ground state solution (u,ϕ) is established using a monotonicity trick and global compactness Lemma. As its supplementary results, we prove some nonexistence results in the case of 1<p2 and p=2s-1.
