Nonexistence of solutions for quasilinear Schrödinger equation in ℝN

ABSTRACT

In this paper, we study the nonexistence of solutions to the quasilinear Schrödinger equations: (1) Δpu+V(x)|u|p2uΔp(|u|2α)|u|2α2u=g(x,u),xRN,(1) where p-Laplacian operator Δpu=div(|u|p2u),1<p<N and α>1/2 is a parameter. Under suitable conditions on g(x,u), the nonexistence of solutions to Equation (1) is investigated.
