Scattering of plane compressional waves by cylindrical inclusion in a poroelastic medium

Abstract

This paper deals with the three-dimensional analysis of stress distribution in a long circular cylinder imbedded in a poroelatic medium. The surface of the cylinder is subjected to a known pressure. The equations of the classical theory of elasticity are solved in terms of an infinite series.
