On the approximation of functionals in sobolev spaces by singular integrals

Abstract

We discuss some aspects of approximation theorie in L₂(G) and related Sobolev spaces. For that we use a distribution-theoretical approach of these spaces introduced by P. Werner. In particular, we investigate questions of convergence and order of approximation.
