On dichotomy and well conditioning in Kronecker product two-point boundary value problems

Abstract

A two-point boundary value problem is considered in which the coefficients in the first order linear vector differential equation and the mixed boundary condition equation appear in the form of Kronecker products. The difference between dichotomy and strong dichotomy for Kronecker product BVPs is established, and a result on conditioning is presented.
