Error analysis in regular and irregular sampling theory

Abstract

In [10, 11, 12] we introduced a new family of algorithms for the reconstruction of a band—limited function from its irregularly sampled values. In this paper we carry out an error analysis of these algorithms and discuss their numerical stability. As special cases we also obtain more precise error estimates in the case of the regular sampling theorem.
