Abstract
We consider a nonlinear singular evolution problem arising from thermoelastic contact. We first prove the existence of a unique solution to the perturbed problem, then we pass to the limit to obtain a solution of the original problem in a weighted Soblev space. The result is applied to a thermoelstic contact problem with radial symmetry.
