Green' function representation for acoustic pressure over a poroelastic seabedFootnote

Abstract

A Green' function representation for acoustic pressure in an ocean over a poroelastic seabed is derived via a residue computation. Transmission loss curves for four sediments are computed using this representation and confirmed by comparison to the same curves computed by the numerical technique of parabolic approximation.
