A note on the uniqueness of the propagating solution for acoustic waves in a finite depth ocean

Abstract

There is an error in the proof of the uniqueness of the propagating solution for acoustic waves in a finite depth ocean [I]. A correct version of the uniqueness theorem was given in the author's Ph.D. dissertation (University of Delaware, 1990). This note is from the section 2.2 of the dissertation.
