The slepian-pollak energy inequality for wavelets and frames

Abstract

We deal with the uncertainty principle on wavelet spaces and we show the Slepian-Pollak energy inequality for certain pairs (T, P) of operators, where T is the signal's truncation on the time space and P its projection on a wavelet or on a frame space.
