The objective of this paper is to study the convergence of the multidimensional nonstationary subdivision schemes(NSSS) and the properties of their limit functions. We first establish an interpolatory theorem relating to such nonstationary subdivision schemes, then a general result on the convergence of such schemes to functions is derived.
