On a nonlinear boundary value problem for fourth order equations

Abstract

In this paper, we consider the fourth order ordinary differential equation

together with the boundary conditions

Some existence results for the problem (E)—(B) are obtained. The results here apply to more than just the sublinear and superlinear cases discussed by most other authors.
