Correlation of Anthropometry and Simple Tests of Pulmonary Function

Abstract

Simple tests of pulmonary function and a number of anthropometric measurements were made on the same population. The results were correlated. It was found that age and standing height correlated most closely with the tests of pulmonary function in a white population. Such, however, may not be the case if interethnic comparisons are to be made.
