Hormonal Influences Upon Ethylene Glycol Poisoning

Abstract

In the rat, pretreatment with thyroxine or triamcinolone inhibits the mortality rate and renal lesions induced by ethylene glycol intoxication, whereas estradiol exerts an opposite effect.
