Abstract
Guteneous infection with Mycobacterium marinum was acquired by a fisherman from occupational exposure to Gulf waters. Tuberculin skin testing of individuals whose employment involves extensive exposure 'to a marine environment revealed a high incidence of positive reactors. This suggests that M marinum infection is an occupational hazard to those thus employed.
