Abstract
Objective: The study assessed the impact of a two-day training workshop on clinician attitudes in working with people meeting diagnostic criteria for borderline personality disorder.
Methods: The subjective feelings of 121 participants at eight consecutive workshops were evaluated pre-workshop, post-workshop and at 3–5 month follow-up.
Results: Descriptive statistics using frequencies and means demonstrated increased optimism, enthusiasm and positive feelings towards working with people meeting diagnostic criteria for borderline personality disorder post-workshop and at follow-up.
