THE USE OF THE HERBARIUM TO FORESTERS

SUMMARY

Attention is directed to the uses of a herbarium which, besides exhibiting specific data, can assist in recording the changes of habit with changes in the environment.

A few examples of genetic variation in South Australia are enumerated. In conclusion it is suggested that a limited number of herbaria be established on a regional basis.
