Provenance Variation in Frost Resistance in Eucalyptus Camaldulensis Dehn

&
Pages 26-33 | Received 28 Oct 1974, Published online: 15 Apr 2013

SUMMARY

Frost resistance of E. camaldulensis has been reported to vary with origin of seed source. Support for this view is provided by the present study. Evidence is also given that more northerly provenances of the interior of Australia may be better able to withstand mild radiation frost in the unhardened state than are southern, cool-temperate provenances.
