A random-access multitone audio generator

Abstract

An inexpensive and easily constructed tone generator which allowed random access to auditory stimuli was built and tested in a generalization experiment. The generator will produce either square or sine waves and will allow each tone frequency and intensity to be individually adjusted. Although the original was built to access twelve tones, a version could He extended to accommodate any number of frequencies.
