Morita psychotherapy: A theoretical overview for Australian consideration

Abstract

This article presents an overview of Morita psychotherapy. Morita therapy originated from the work and writings of Professor Shoma Morita (1874-1938), a psychiatrist from Japan. Philosophical foundations, an example, and discussion of the therapy are offered for consideration to Australian psychologists.
