Synopsis
A seasonal influence has been found on the percentage of vitamin A found in liver in the alcohol form. This percentage is much higher in summer than in winter. A direct correlation can be shown between the means of daily maximum temperatures during the life of the chicks and the percentage of vitamin A in liver in the alcohol form.
