ABSTRACT
The Pinellas County Sheriffs Department Forensic Laboratory, in Largo, Florida, has conducted a study of the drugs analyzed during a twenty-four month period (January 1981 through December 1982). A total of 5,058 cases were analyzed during the study and the results reflect the numerous kinds of drugs and excipients which were seen. It is the hope that this survey will benefit other forensic laboratories by enabling them to compare trends seen in this part of the country with those seen elsewhere and allowing them to compare their case load with that of another laboratory.
