A Double Variant Encountered During Routine Casework

ABSTRACT

During a routine investigation of an attempted murder case rare variants were encountered in the PGM and EAP systems. The frequency of occurrence of this sample was found to far exceed any other case using conventional grouping methods.

RÉSUMÉ

Lors de l'enquête d'une tentative de meurtre, nous avons eu l'occasion d'observer des groupes sanguins qui ne sont vus que très rarement avec les systèmes de groupage PGM et EAP. La fréquence d'un tel échantillon est de loin la plus rare qu'il nous a été permis de constater lorsqu'on utilise des méthodes conventionnelles de groupage sanguin.
