ABSTRACT
The effect of annealing on toughened and non-toughened glasses that have similar densities and refractive indices is examined with respect to the changes in density and refractive index after annealing. A correlation between the change in refractive index (ΔRI) and the change in density (Δδ) is drawn.
RéSUMÉ
L'effet de recuire des échantillons de verre trempés et non-trempés ayant des densités et des indices de réfraction similaires est étudié. L'emphase est placée sur les changements de leur densité et de leur indice de réfraction après le recuisage. Une corrélation entre le changement de l'indice de réfraction (ΔRI) et le changement de la densité (Δδ) est établie.
