Ag-NORs (nucleolus organizer regions) were detected on one pair of chromosomes of Tymallus thymallus. Chromomycin A3 (CMA3) positive clusters are evident in the NOR region. The majority of the chromosomes possess DAPI positive heterochromatic blocks.
