SUMMARY

Three species of birds, namely Chrysomma sinense hypoteucum, Orthotomus sutorius guzuratus and Prinia socialis stewarti, carry a diploid number of 76, 84 and 72 chromosomes, respectively. The karyotypic and morphometric details of their complements have also been given.
