Abstract
The behavior of a premixed acetylene-air flame on a slot burner adjacent to a wall is described. Both Coanda effect and anti-wall effect are seen to occur. The heat transfer rate from the flame to the wall is observed to be affected by the angle the wall makes with the burner.
