The Family in a Changing Social Order

Abstract

Many people think of the family as a static institution which has reached a final form through a process of social evolution. The fallacy of this belief is apparent to the logical thinker. Culture and the social environment are in continuous flux; and the family, of necessity, must be responsive to new conditions.
