Notes

1 ALPE is the acronym of Asian Link of Philosophy of Education. The ALPE, founded in 2011 by Morimichi Kato from Japan, Duck-Joo from Korea, and me Ruyu Hung from Taiwan, is concerned with improving international collaboration in East Asia. For years, we have done various types of academic activities including symposiums, workshops, and seminars. In January 2023 the founders and participants of the ALPE coauthor and publish Nature, Art, and Education in East Asia: Philosophical Connections (Routledge).
