Team Teaching in Further Education

Pages 19-26 | Published online: 09 Jul 2006

Summary

Over a period of five years the examination results and attitudes of part‐time day technician students being taught by a team teaching organization, are analysed and compared with similar students subjected to more traditional teaching modes. The overall examination results show the team teaching results to be significantly superior. But the fluctuations over the years show the need for a more detailed study before the successful components of team teaching in further education can be identified.
