Organization development as action research in teacher education

Summary

Organization development as action research is a way of enhancing the problem‐solving capacity of teacher training institutions and of gaining understanding of how they function as organizations. The paper describes this approach to research by referring to an action research project that studied the impact of an organization development intervention in 10 faculties of education.
