Defining and Re‐defining the Teacher in the Swedish Comprehensive School

Abstract

In this paper teachers’ curricular influence in the Swedish comprehensive school is described and discussed. Four periods in governance and educational planning between 1962 and the present day are identified in which teachers were regulated and contextualised differently.
