Abstract
This note describes an apparatus which allows the automatic preparation and analysis of particular sets of stimuli and responses. It was designed specifically for research into the acquisition of high-speed skills, but two major parts of the system are capable of more general application. The input part of the system is a general-purpose input device for experiments which require up to eight channels of decimal data, or any combination thereof, to be presented to a subject. The output part is a time and event recorder which can cope with up to four decimal channels of event information. Details of the electronic logic system are given.
