Abstract
In a previous paper we demonstrated that a telemetric accelerograph developed in our workshop proved to be a fairly good instrument for assessing mental performance under industrial working conditions, if the work is characterized by periodically repeated stereotyped movements.
Since then we have developed our instrument and the new instrument comprises perceptive—F.M. transmitting sets, attached to the right and left hand like wrist-watches, two one-channel F.M. receivers and aerials and a recorder, Each receiver is mounted with a part for filtering high-frequency components at various levels.
An analysis of the accelerogram from the point of view of time and structure seems to be appropriate for assessing changes in mental performance during shift work.
