Abstract

Analysis of catecholamine excretion rates of men living in 12 villages north of Oxford showed differences according to day of week and occupation. Work-day adrenaline excretion rates were higher than rest-day rates, rates for non-manual occupations were higher than for manual occupations, and rates for professional and managerial occupations were higher than for other occupations.
