Abstract

The Common farm tractor has most of the working implements at the rear or to the side, thus requiring the driver to spend a large proportion of his. time looking backwards and adopting poor woking posture Besides adverse effects to health and generally feeling of discomfort. this. bad working posture also affects the quality of work Improvements for the driver can be made through new design of tractors where more of the implements can be located in the front, and in general improvement of. visibility conditions, and in work station lay, out On tractors in use seats that can be swivelled and also tilted somewhat for compensating sideways inclination, improve working posture Big mirrors of size at least 20 × 30cm are a very useful aid for tractor drivers, improving both working posture, quality of work and general safety Better systems for controlling implements attached to the tractor can also improve working posture considerably Information of what to require and description of ideas for new design and improvement directly to the users (farmers) have been an effective way of getting g machine manufacturers interested and thus having promoted the development and marketing of components and details improving the tractor driver' working posture.
