Abstract

This paper outlines the design of an automated and portable test facility for analysing human motor performance during discrete positioning tasks. It is based on the use of modem digitizer technology together with a personal computer. It is a flexible facility capable of accommodating several different experimental paradigms and measures of performance. Both spatial and temporal performance may be analysed during both one- and two-dimensional movements.
