Abstract
When applying ergonomics it is necessary for an occupational health service to take problems seriously and to listen to the various groups responsible for working conditions. Second, it is essential for top management to make conscious decisions. Third, it is important to maintain contacts with those implementing the recommendations and to provide instructions for the people directly involved.
