Abstract
Low-energy lattice modes were investigated above and below the temperature of phase transition from trigonal phase to monoclinic one in KSc(MoO4)2 by Raman scattering method. X-ray data and Raman spectra manifest the anomalies in the temperature region above T-260 K, temperature of phase transition to monoclinic phase which were not explained in the previous phenomenological model. More complex model is discussed. It was supposed that at 237-240K the first-order phase transition between two monoclinic phases C2/m and C2/c occurs in polydomain samples of KSc(MoO4)2.
