The Hall effect has been investigated for YbNi2B2C borocarbide in magnetic fields up to 130 kOe and in temperature interval 1.5≤T≤300 K. The Hall coefficient RH was found to be negative at all temperatures. The absolute value of RH increases approximately three times with decreasing temperature from 300 K to 4.2 K; RH(4.2 K) = -4.0.10-12 Ωcm/Oe, this corresponds to the one band model Hall density of carries -2.0 cell-1. Pronounced temperature dependence of RHcorrelates with the anomalous drop of resistivity at T<30 K (both were not observed for the other RNi2B2C borocarbides) and seems to be connected with the reported earlier moderate heavy fermion-like behavior of YbNi2B2C.
