Abstract

The new principle of electromechanic energy conversion based on the electrostatic rolling of thin metallic films (petals) on the surface of the ferroelectric films is described. This effect allows one to convert energy with 50% efficiency and more. The linear step micromotor created by means of microelectronics is described, and it's characteristics are given.
