Abstract

A possibility of existence of a group of new materials, clathrate perovskites, derived from crystals of the rhenium trioxide structure type (as completely vacant perovskites) or (partially) vacant perovskites, such as LaTiO3, well-known PLZT and others, and with (primarily) inert, non-bound atoms in A sites is discussed.
