Abstract
A transmission electron microscopy (TEM) investigation has been conducted on 90° domain wall mobility in Pb(ZrTi)O3 (PZT) ceramics using electron beam heating. The nucleation and growth of new 90° domain were observed. It is found that the 90° domain nucleated at edges of domain walls and grew up in a forward manner. The domain nucleation at the grain boundary was also observed. It gives the information to understand the mechanism of polarization reversal process in PZT.
