Abstract

Copper centers in KTaO₃:Cu single crystals were studied by Electron Paramagnetic Resonance. We evidenced two types of single Cu²⁺ centers and one exchange-coupled Cu²⁺-Cu²⁺ pair centre. The spectra of pair centers show tetragonal symmetry and the exchange interaction in the pairs is ferromagnetic (S=1).
