Growth and characterization of V-doped (KNa)_0.1(Sr_0.75Ba_0.25)_0.9 Nb₂O₆ crystals

Abstract

A series of V-doped (KNa)_0.1(Sr_0.75Ba_0.25)_0.9Nb₂O₆ [KNSBN:V] crystals were successfully grown and characterized by measuring of the absorption and light-induced absorption change. Both the absorption and light-induced absorption coefficients of KNSBN:V increase with V doping concentrations. The light-induced absorption of KNSBN:V exhibit, strong intensity- and polarization-dependent absorption in the visible spectral range.
