Abstract

Transmission spectra (450–900 nm) and dispersion of the ordinary and extraordinary refractive indices (420–680 nm) have been studied for CsLiB6O10 single crystals grown using the direct Czochralsky technique. The parameters of Sellmeier formula, the refraction and the electron polarizability αhave been calculated. Temporal changes in the optical transmission spectrum of CsLiB6O10 samples have been detected and prescribed tentatively to a light scattering at the products of hydrolysis initiated by atmospheric humidity.
